Here are some easy ways to do it:
- Support local artisans when buying candles, soap, handcrafted jewelry, furniture, and more
- Buy fruit & veggies from a farmer's market or CSA
- Shop at a local hardware store as opposed to a big box store
- Have a local baker make your birthday cakes, holiday desserts and cookies
- Buy from independent book sellers instead of Amazon
- Eat at independently-owned restaurants not national chains
- Use local craftspeople to repair and refurbish furniture or broken household items instead of throwing them away
- Attend SHOP LOCAL CBUS events!
